I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where my academic work centered on the power of communication to shape relationships, organizations, and communities.

Personal

I grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina, before moving to Chapel Hill to attend the University of North Carolina for both undergraduate and graduate school.

After completing my studies, my husband and I began our life together in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where we spent several years building our careers and community.

Now, feeling the pull of home, we’ve returned to North Carolina and settled in Charlotte to plant roots and be closer to our families while continuing to grow personally and professionally.

Professional

I am a strategic communications professional with experience spanning healthcare, research institutions, and mission-driven organizations. My work focuses on building thoughtful communication strategies that strengthen community relationships, elevate organizational impact and translate complex information into meaningful, accessible narratives.

With a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill, I have developed a strong foundation in strategic communication, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout my career, I have led the development of communications infrastructure, digital engagement strategies, and outreach efforts that increase an organization’s visibility and strengthen connections with diverse audiences.
